The plate spins and the light is on, but food comes out cold — almost always a failed magnetron, high-voltage diode, or capacitor.
Sparking or arcing inside
Burning smell and visible arcing usually trace to a damaged waveguide cover, a burnt rack support, or chipped cavity paint.
Turntable won't rotate
A stalled tray points to a seized turntable motor, a stripped drive coupler, or debris jamming the roller guide.
Touchpad or buttons dead
Unresponsive or intermittent keys mean a failed membrane touchpad or a cracked control board — both swapped on site.
Loud humming or buzzing
Excess noise comes from a tired magnetron, a failing cooling fan, or a stirrer motor on its way out.
Door won't latch / won't start
